The Standing Committee on Finance met in a televised session at 8:46 a.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, James Rajotte, presiding.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Monday, May 25, 2015, the Committee commenced consideration of Bill C-59, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on April 21, 2015 and other measures.

Maureen Donnelly, Allister W. Young, Ron Bonnett, Angella MacEwen, David F. Podruzny, Bruce MacDonald and Jean-Denis Fréchette made statements and answered questions.

At 10:09 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:15 a.m., the sitting resumed.
