The Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics met in camera at 3:32 p.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Pierre-Luc Dusseault, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Charmaine Borg, Ray Boughen, Paul Calandra, Patricia Davidson, Pierre-Luc Dusseault, Larry Maguire and Bob Zimmer.

 

Acting Members present: Ted Hsu for Scott Simms, Costas Menegakis for Paul Calandra and LaVar Payne for Tilly O'Neill Gordon.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Maxime-Olivier Thibodeau, Analyst; Miguel Bernal-Castillero, Analyst.

 
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.
 

It was agreed, — That in relation to the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, November 7, 2013, the Committee resume its study of the growing problem of identity theft and its economic impact; that four (4) additional meetings be scheduled for the purpose of hearing witnesses; and that two (2) additional meetings be scheduled for the purpose of considering a report to the House.

 

It was agreed, — That, at the completion of its study of the growing problem of identity theft and its economic impact, the Committee schedule a meeting to consider matters related to Committee business.

 

At 3:50 p.m., by unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.

 

At 3:53 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
