    [Public proceedings resume]
If we wanted to add the letter of application to what we consider, as a committee, in making the Centennial Flame Research Award, we would need to change our criteria. I understand from the clerk that we would then need to pass a motion, as follows:
That pursuant to section 53 of the Centennial Flame Research Award, the committee add the inclusion of a letter of presentation as a new criterion when submitting an application for the Centennial Flame Research Award and that a letter be sent to the Speakers of the House of Commons and the Senate for their approval of this new criterion.
Does anybody want to move the motion?
    I will move the motion.
You have a question. Go ahead.
Will it be obvious, or will what a letter of presentation is be defined somewhere so that it actually meets the goals as we discussed them?
What I read is that the committee wants people to better describe in their letters of presentation who they are and why they deserve the award and to elaborate further on their proposed subject of research for the Centennial Flame Research Award.
This is what would be on the website. We put a list of criteria, and under letter of presentation, it would be specific.
It would be defined. We don't need that definition in the motion. Okay.
Is there any further discussion on the motion?
    (Motion agreed to)
The Chair: The clerk also suggested that we publish on HUMA's website the Centennial Flame Research Award recipient's final report after it's been tabled in the House and the Senate. At this point I guess we don't put those reports up; I'm not sure how many of you have read last year's report. I have.
It would probably be good to have it on our website. If we thought so, we could have a motion that would read:
That each year the committee publish on its website the Centennial Flame Research Award recipient's final report after it has been tabled in the House and the Senate pursuant to section 7 of the Centennial Flame Research Award Act.
    I so move.
Mr. Butt is right on top of things.
    (Motion agreed to)
The Chair: Now we move to the motion of Madame Boutin-Sweet.
Mr. Chair, may I move that we go in camera to consider the rest of the committee business on the agenda?
    Okay.
May I request a recorded vote, please?

  (0945)

There's a request to go in camera. You want a recorded vote.
(Motion agreed to: yeas 6; nays 5)
    We will move in camera.
    [Proceedings continue in camera]
