The Standing Committee on Finance met in camera at 10:01 a.m. this day, in Room 7-52, 131 Queen Street, the Chair, James Rajotte, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Mark Adler, Hon. Scott Brison, Alain Giguère, Shelly Glover, Randy Hoback, Brian Jean, Peter Julian, Hoang Mai, Wayne Marston, Cathy McLeod, James Rajotte and Dave Van Kesteren.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: June Dewetering, Chief Analyst; Mark Mahabir, Analyst; Brett Stuckey, Analyst; Katie Meredith, Analyst; Raphaelle Deraspe, Analyst; Adriane Yong, Analyst. House of Commons: Marlene Sandoval, Committee Clerk.

 
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.
 

It was agreed, — That all parties submit their list of potential witnesses for the study on tax incentives for charitable donations to the Clerk of the Committee by Thursday, December 8, 2011.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 83.1, the Committee resumed its pre-budget consultations 2011.
 

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

 

It was agreed, — That Members be allowed to take and keep their notes (both on paper and electronically) at the end of the meeting, and that the paper copies of the draft report remain with the Clerk; that the Member's designated staff be provided with a copy of the draft report during the meetings; and that additional time for the reading of the draft report be scheduled by the Clerk for the Committee members and their designated staff.

 

At 10:36 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:52 p.m., the sitting resumed.

 

At 12:54 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
