The Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs met at 3:33 p.m. this day, in Room 7-52, 131 Queen Street, the Chair, Greg Kerr, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Sean Casey, Richard M. Harris, Greg Kerr, Wladyslaw Lizon, Ben Lobb, Irene Mathyssen, Annick Papillon and Brian Storseth.

Acting Members present: Dan Albas for Rob Anders, Claude Gravelle for Réjean Genest, James Lunney for Richard M. Harris, Scott Reid for Eve Adams, Jean Rousseau for Peter Stoffer and Mark Strahl for Rob Anders.

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Jean-Rodrigue Paré, Analyst.

Witnesses: Canadian Aboriginal Veterans and Serving Members Association: Richard Blackwolf, President; Sylvain Chartrand, Representative. Canadian Association of Veterans in United Nations Peacekeeping: Robert O'Brien, Chairman, Board of Directors. NATO Veterans Organization of Canada: Gord Jenkins, President. Veterans of Canada: Donald Leonardo, Founder and Chief Executive Officer. National Institute of Disability Management and Research: Wolfgang Zimmermann, Executive Director.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, November 24, 2011, the Committee resumed its review of the delivery of front-line health and wellbeing services for Canadian Veterans.

Richard Blackwolf, Wolfgang Zimmermann, Donald Leonardo, Robert O'Brien and Gord Jenkins made statements and, with Sylvain Chartrand, answered questions.

At 5:28 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
