The Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food met at 11:00 a.m. this day, in Room 371, West Block, the Vice-chair, Larry Miller, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Alex Atamanenko, André Bellavance, France Bonsant, Hon. Wayne Easter, Hon. Mark Eyking, Randy Hoback, Larry Miller, Blake Richards, Bev Shipley, Brian Storseth and Francis Valeriote.

Acting Members present: David Anderson for Pierre Lemieux.

Associate Members present: Malcolm Allen.

The Minister made a statement and, with Carole Swan, answered questions.

At 12:04 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:08 p.m., the sitting resumed.
