[English]

Is it the pleasure of the committee to adopt the motion?
    (Motion agreed to)
The Clerk: I will now invite the chair to take—
We have no ladies here today, it's all men on the committee. I'm sorry, I am not referring to ladies on the staff, but the two Judys aren't present today.
Thank you very much for your confidence again.
Thank you, Jacques, for running the meeting and looking after the necessary protocols for chair and vice-chairs.
Generally when I've been on committees, after the chairs are nominated and voted for, there's a recess for that meeting, but I think to use our time most efficiently, if it pleases the committee, we should take a look at future business and decide at least to have a path forward from this meeting so that we can begin to call witnesses, etc., and begin to do our work. We'd had some discussion before, but I want to open the floor to some conversation about moving forward.
    Mr. Stoffer.
We did this in the fisheries committee, sir, and we went in camera for that. I don't know if it's necessary for us to do so.
Thank you very much, Mr. Stoffer. Yes, generally we do that for business, and thank you. We should be going in camera, so we'll take a moment for that transition.
    [Proceedings continue in camera]
