Fact-finding mission on the new Agricultural Policy Framework in Eastern and Central Canada
Ottawa, April 20, 2007 -
The House of Commons Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food will be conducting the second part of its fact-finding mission on Business Risk Management Programs (BRM) and the new Agricultural Policy Framework (APF).
The Standing Committee will hold hearings in the following cities to hear from farmers and other Agriculture and Agri-Food stakeholders:
On Monday morning, April 23rd, Truro, NS
On Monday evening, April 23rd, Charlottetown, PEI
On Tuesday, April 24th, Fredericton, NB
On Wednesday, April 25th, Montmagny, QC
On Thursday, April 26th, Stratford, ON.
