| FIFTH REPORT | CINQUIÈME RAPPORT |

Pursuant to Standing Order 32(5) and the motion adopted by the Committee on March 21, 2005, your Committee has agreed that, notwithstanding the Fourth Report of the Standing Committee on Health presented in the House of Commons on Friday, February 16, 2005, the Chair shall table two separate reports on the Proposed Regulations Amending the Tobacco Reporting Regulations, as referred to the Committee on Tuesday, December 14, 2004.
Your Committee unanimously recommends in this first report, that the Government enact the Proposed Regulations Amending the Tobacco Reporting Regulations, pursuant to the Tobacco Act, S.C. 1997, c. 13, sbs. 42.1(1), with the following amendment: That the proposed amendment 3 be further amended by replacing the words “the Minister must be able to manipulate the test results; and”, with the words “the Minister must be able to electronically process the test results without having to re-copy or re-enter them; and” |
Conformément à l'article 32(5) du Règlement et la motion adoptée par le Comité le 21 mars 2005, votre Comité a donné son appui voulant que, nonobstant le quatrième rapport du Comité permanent de la santé présenté à la Chambre des communes le vendredi 16 février 2005, la présidence dépose maintenant deux rapports distincts au sujet du Projet de règlement modifiant le règlement sur les rapports relatifs au tabac qui a été renvoyé au Comité le mardi 14 décembre 2004. Votre Comité recommande unaniment dans ce premier rapport, que le gouvernement promulgue le Projet de règlement modifiant le Règlement sur les rapports relatifs au tabac, conformément à la Loi sur le tabac, L.C. 1997, ch. 13, par. 42.1(1), avec l'amendement suivant : Que la modification 3 qui est proposée soit modifiée par substitution, aux mots « il doit pouvoir manipuler les résultats; », des mots « le ministre doit pouvoir traiter électroniquement les résultats sans devoir les recopier ou les entrer de nouveau; » |
