The Standing Committee on Finance met in a televised session at 3:33 p.m. this day, in Room 237-C Centre Block, the Chair, Massimo Pacetti, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Rona Ambrose, Don H. Bell, Guy Côté, Yvan Loubier, John McKay, Maria Minna, Massimo Pacetti, Brian Pallister and Judy Wasylycia-Leis.

Pursuant to Standing Order 83.1, the Committee resumed its pre-budget consultations 2004.

Ian Markham, René Daoust, Mark Golbatt, Marie White, Tim Aubry, Glen Shepherd and Danielle Shaw made statements and, with Laurie Beachell and Kevin Collins, answered questions.

 

At 5:00 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:09 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Harvey Weiner, Lynell J. Anderson, Catharine Laidlaw-Sly, Michael Gorman, Wendy DesBrisay, Peter Dinsdale, Robert Arnold and Dennis Howlett made statements and, with Jamie Kass, answered questions.
