The Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics met in a televised session at 11:10 a.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Acting Chair, David Tilson, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Hon. Navdeep Bains, David Chatters, Odina Desrochers, Ken Epp, Hon. Marlene Jennings, Mario Laframboise, Derek Lee, Tom Lukiwski, Russ Powers and David Tilson.

 

Acting Members present: Bernard Bigras for Mario Laframboise, Gary Carr for Paul Zed, Hon. Shawn Murphy for Hon. Marlene Jennings and Roger Valley for Paul Zed.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Kristen Douglas, Analyst; Nancy Holmes, Analyst.

 

Witnesses: Office of the Information Commissioner of Canada: J. G.D. Dupuis, Director General, Investigations and Reviews; J. Alan Leadbeater, Deputy Information Commissioner; Ruth L.
