The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 9:10 a.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Chair, David Pratt, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Claude Bachand, Leon Benoit, Cheryl Gallant, Dominic LeBlanc, Joe McGuire, David Pratt, David Price, Elsie Wayne.
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner and Michel Rossignol, Research Officers; Barry Hamilton, Consultant.
Witness: From the York University: Prof. Martin Shadwick, Senior Research Fellow, York Centre for International Security.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of its study on Canada-United States Defence Cooperation and on other related issues.
Professor Shadwick made an opening statement and answered questions.
At 10:42 a.m., David Price took the Chair.
At 10:45 a.m., David Pratt took the Chair.
At 11:00 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
