The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 9:16 a.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Chair, David Pratt, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Claude Bachand, Cheryl Gallant, Dominic LeBlanc, David Pratt, David Price.
In attendance: Barry Hamilton, Advisor to the Committee.
Witnesses: From the Department of National Defence: James Harlick, Assistant Deputy Minister, Office of Critical Infrastructure Protection and Emergency Preparedness; Bill de Laat, Director General of External Relations and Public Affairs, Office of Critical Infrastructure Protection and Emergency Preparedness.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of its study on Canada-United States Defence Cooperation and on other related issues.
James Harlick made an opening statement and with the other witness answered questions.
At 11:03 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
