TROISIÈME RAPPORT

Pursuant to Standing Order 108, the Committee adopted the following resolution:

Conformément à l'article 108 du Règlement, le Comité a adopté la résolution suivante :

IT IS RESOLVED that, notwithstanding Standing Order 118(1), the Standing Committee on Official Languages seeks permission of the House to reduce quorum of the Committee to seven (7) members, provided that the said quorum includes a member of the opposition.

IL EST RÉSOLU que, nonobstant l'article 118(1) du Règlement, le Comité permanent des langues officielles demande la permission à la Chambre d'abaisser le quorum du Comité à sept (7) membres, pourvu que ledit quorum inclut un membre de l’opposition.

In accordance with this resolution, the Committee recommends to the House the adoption of the following recommendation:

Conformément à cette résolution, le Comité recommande à la Chambre l’adoption de la proposition suivante :

That the House authorize the Standing Committee on Official Languages to reduce quorum of the Committee to seven (7) members, provided that the said quorum includes a member of the opposition.

Que la Chambre autorise le Comité permanent des langues officielles à abaisser le quorum du Comité à sept (7) membres, pourvu que ledit quorum inclut un membre de l’opposition.

A copy of the relevant Minutes of Proceedings (Meeting No. 14) is tabled.
