Meeting No. 29

Tuesday, April 1st, 2003

The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met in camera at 3:55 p.m. this day, in Room 705, La Promenade Building, the Chair, Clifford Lincoln, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Jim Abbott, Carole-Marie Allard, Paul Bonwick, Christiane Gagnon, John Harvard, Wendy Lill, Clifford Lincoln and Alex Shepherd.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Sam Banks and Terrence Thomas, research officers.  Consultant:  David Black.

Witnesses:  Marc Raboy and David Taras, expert advisors.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study on the State of the Canadian Broadcasting System.  (See Minutes of Proceedings dated November 7, 2002, meeting No. 2).

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

Marc Raboy and David Taras answered questions.

At 6:28 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
