Meeting No. 1
Tuesday, November 5, 2002
The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met at 9:05 a.m. this day, in Room 308, West Block, for the purpose of electing a Chair, pursuant to S.O. 106(1).
Members of the Committee present: Jim Abbott, Paul Bonwick, Sarmite Bulte, Rodger Cuzner, Claude Duplain, Christiane Gagnon, John Harvard, Loyola Hearn, Betty Hinton, Wendy Lill, Clifford Lincoln, Dennis Mills, Chuck Strahl, Tony Tirabassi.
Acting Members present: Stan Dromisky for Roger Gallaway, Benoit Sauvageau for Caroline St-Hilaire and Joe McGuire for Clifford Lincoln.
In attendance: From the Committees Directorate: Patrice Martin, Committee Clerk.
The Clerk of the Committee presided over the election of a Chair.
Joe McGuire moved, - That Clifford Lincoln do take the Chair of this Committee.
And debate arising on the motion.
At 10:18 a.m., the members dispersed.
