The Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met at 11:04 a.m. this day, in Room 536 Wellington Building, the Vice-Chair, John Cummins, presiding. |
Members of the Committee present: Andy Burton, John Cummins, Georges Farrah, Loyola Hearn, Carmen Provenzano, Jean-Yves Roy and Peter Stoffer. |
In attendance: Library of Parliament: Alan Nixon, Principal. |
Witnesses: CAW-Canada: Martin Grégoire, President, Local 2182. Union of Canadian Transportation Employees: Michael Wing, National President; John Fox, President, Local 80809. |
| Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on January 30, 2003, the Committee resumed its comprehensive study on the Canadian Coast Guard. |
The witnesses made statements and answered questions. |
