The Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration met at 8:07 a.m. this day in the Radisson Plaza Hotel Admiral Toronto, Admiral’s Ballroom, the Chair, Joe Fontana, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Joe Fontana, Lynne Yelich.

Acting Member present:  Andrew Telegdi for David Price.

Other member present: Brian Masse

Pursuant to its Order of Reference of Friday, November 8, 2002, the Committee resumed debate on Clause 2 consideration of Bill C-18, An Act respecting Canadian citizenship (See Minutes of Proceedings, Thursday, November 21, 2002, Meeting No. 6).

The witnesses made statements.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study on Canada's Settlement and Integration Programs (See Minutes of Proceedings, Monday, February 10, 2003, Meeting No 20).
