Meeting No. 73

Thursday, March 14, 2002

The Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology met in camera at 9:15 a.m. this day, in Room 307, West Block, the Chair, Walt Lastewka, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Larry Bagnell, Stéphane Bergeron, Walt Lastewka, Serge Marcil, Dan McTeague, Charlie Penson, James Rajotte, Andy Savoy and Brent St. Denis.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Dan Shaw and Geoffrey P. Kieley, Research Officers.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of a draft report of the Competition Law and Policy (See Minutes of Proceedings, Tuesday, December 4th, 2001, Meeting No. 59).

It was agreed, -- That the dissenting opinions be no more than five pages and be submitted to the Clerk in both officials languages by Friday, April 12, 2002 or, in one language, by Thursday, April 11, 2002.

At 11:05 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
