The Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration met in camera at 9:15 a.m. this day, in Room 209, West Block, the Chair, Joe Fontana, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Mark Assad, Yvon Charbonneau, Madeleine Dalphond-Guiral, Joe Fontana, Steve Mahoney, Inky Mark, Anita Neville, David Price, Lynne Yelich.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Benjamin Dolin; Margaret Young, Researchers.
Pursuant to its mandate under Standing Order 108(2) and its order of February 4, 2002, the Committee resumed its study on "Competing for Immigrants".
The Committee began its discussions on a draft report on “Competing for Immigrants”.
At 10:54 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
