The Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food met in a televised session at 3:32 p.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, Charles Hubbard, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: David L. Anderson, Rick Borotsik, Murray Calder, Marcel Gagnon, Howard Hilstrom, Charles Hubbard, Rick Laliberte, Larry McCormick, Dick Proctor, Paul Steckle, Suzanne Tremblay, Rose-Marie Ur.
Acting Member(s) present: Kevin Sorenson for Garry Breitkreuz and Michel Bellehumeur for Suzanne Tremblay.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Frédéric Forge and Jean-Denis Fréchette, Research Officers.
Appearing: From the Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada: The Hon. Lyle Vanclief, Minister, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
