Tuesday, December 14, 1999
The Standing Committee of Public Accounts met in camera at 3:32 p.m. this day, in Room 209, West Block, the Chair, John Williams, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Hec Clouthier, John Finlay, Paul Forseth, Steve Mahoney, George Proud, John Richardson, Benoît Sauvageau, John Williams.
Acting Members present: Guy St-Julien for Alex Shepherd and Derrek Konrad for Philip Mayfield.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Jean Dupuis; Brian O'Neal, Research Officers.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(e), consideration of the Public Accounts of Canada 1998-1999.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)e), consideration the Annual Performance Report of the office of the Auditor General of Canada for the period ending March 31, 1999.
By uanimous consent, the Committee waived the 48 hour notice to present a new motion.
On motion of Paul Forseth, it was agreed, - That the Committee do now adjourn.
At 3:45 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
