MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS

Meeting No. 41

Thursday, June 8, 2000

The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met in camera at 9:10 a.m. this day, in Room 371, West Block, the Acting Chair, John O'Reilly, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Robert Bertrand, Gordon Earle, Jim Hart, René Laurin, Judi Longfield, John O'Reilly, Janko Peric, David Pratt, George Proud and Bob Wood.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner and Corinne McDonald, Research Officers.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108 (2), the Committee resumed consideration of its study on Contracting and Procurement Policy.

It was agreed, - That the Chair be allowed to make all the editorial changes necessary to reflect the amendments proposed to the text of the Draft Report.

It was agreed, - That the Committee do request a Government Response to the Report, pursuant to Standing Order 109.

It was agreed, - That the Chair be allowed to table the Report in the House, as soon as the editorial changes are incorporated to the text of the Report.

It was agreed, - That the Report, as amended, be approved by the Committee.

At 10:37 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
