The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met at 11:36 a.m. this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Chair, Clifford Lincoln, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Pierre de Savoye, Rick Limoges, Clifford Lincoln, Mark Muise.

Acting Members present: Daniel Turp for Caroline St-Hilaire.

Other Members present: Marlene Jennings; Maurice Godin.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Joseph Jackson, researcher.

Witnesses: From the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission: Jean-Pierre Blais, Executive Director, Broadcasting; Jacques Langlois, Director General, Broadcasting Policy; Réjean Myre, Director, French language radio-television. From the « Fédération des télévisions communautaires autonomes du Québec »: Gérald Gauthier, Development Agent; Isabelle Voyer, Vice-Chairwoman.
