The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met in a televised session at 11:09 a.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, Clifford Lincoln, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Mauril Bélanger, Paul Bonwick, Sarmite Bulte, Irwin Cotler, Pierre de Savoye, Wendy Lill, Rick Limoges, Clifford Lincoln, Inky Mark, Dennis Mills, Mark Muise, Alex Shepherd.

Acting Members present: Marcel Proulx for Bryon Wilfert and Pierre Brien for Caroline St-Hilaire.

Associate Member present: Pierre Brien.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Joseph Jackson, Research Officer.

Witnesses : From the Atlantic Provinces Booksellers Association: Charles Burchell, Owner. From the Inside Story Bookstore: Anne Wedler, Owner. The witnesses made a statement and answered questions.
