SIXIÈME RAPPORT

In accordance with its Order of Reference of Friday, May 12, 2000, your Committee has considered Bill S-3, An Act to implement an agreement, conventions and protocols between Canada and Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Algeria, Bulgaria, Portugal, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Japan and Luxembourg for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income, and agreed on Tuesday, May 30, 2000, to report it without amendment.

Conformément à son Ordre de renvoi du vendredi 12 mai 2000, votre Comité a étudié le projet de loi S-3, Loi mettant en oeuvre un accord, des conventions et des protocoles conclus entre le Canada et le Kirghizistan, le Liban, l'Algérie, la Bulgarie, le Portugal, l'Ouzbékistan, la Jordanie, le Japon et le Luxembourg, en vue d'éviter les doubles impositions et de prévenir l'évasion fiscale en matière d'impôts sur le revenu, et a convenu le mardi 30 mai 2000, d'en faire rapport sans amendement.
