The Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration met in camera at 9:1 0 a.m. this day, in Room 307, West Block, the Chair, Joe Fontana, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Rob Anders, Jean Augustine, Leon Benoit, John Bryden, Joe Fontana, Sophia Leung, Rick Limoges, Steve Mahoney, John McKay, David Price and Andrew Telegdi.
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Margaret Young, Research Officer.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study on all aspects of the Refugee Determination System and Illegal Migrants. (See Minutes of Proceedings of Wednesday, November 3, 1999, Meeting No. 2)
The Committee resumed consideration of its draft report to the House relating to its study on all aspects of the Refugee Determination System and Illegal Migrants.
At 11:05 a.m., the Committee adjourned until 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2000.
