M-65 Guaranteed livable income

That, in the opinion of the House, the government should introduce legislation to create a guaranteed livable income that is accessible to all Canadians, working with the provincial and territorial governments and Indigenous peoples in a coordinated approach to establish an income floor under which no Canadian can fall, that is adjusted to regional differences in living costs, in addition to current programs, public services and income supports meant to meet distinct needs, including disability supports, accessible and affordable social housing and expanded health services ensuring that the rights of Canadians are respected and meet Canada’s international legal obligations.
