Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(i) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, June 16, 2022, the committee resumed its study of research and scientific publication in French.

Martine Lagacé made a statement.

Nathalie Lewis made a statement and, with Martine Lagacé, answered questions.

Motion

Maxime Blanchette-Joncas moved, — That, as part of its study of research and scientific publication in French, the committee allocate one more meeting, on Monday, November 28, 2022, in order to allow witnesses who have not yet had the opportunity to participate to be heard by the committee.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was negatived on the following recorded division:
