It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $22,500, for the study of Arctic sovereignty, security and emergency preparedness of Indigenous Peoples, be adopted.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the committee resumed its study of administration and accessibility of Indigenous Peoples to the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program.

Lee Thom, Frances Chartrand and Marg Friesen made a statement and, with Adel Panahi, answered questions.

At 5:08 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:11 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Rudy Malak, Angela Grier and Marceline Tshernish made statements and answered questions.

At 6:14 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
