Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, February 7, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative.

Karen Hall made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

At 5:33 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:39 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the motions adopted on Monday, February 28, 2022, and Monday, September 26, 2022, the committee commence its consideration of Bill C-215, An Act to amend the Employment Insurance Act (illness, injury or quarantine), on Monday, October 17, 2022.

At 6:21 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
