Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, February 17, 2022, the committee resumed its study of Invocation of the Emergencies Act and related measures.

Flavio Volpe, Martha Durdin and Juan Benitez made statements and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

At 4:04 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:14 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the recommendations for the study on the Invocation of Emergency Act and Related Measures be sent to the clerk’s office no later than Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.

It was agreed, — That the Chair hold a subcommittee meeting during the week of March 21 to 25, 2022.

At 5:33 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
