At 4:45 p.m., the sitting resumed.
It was agreed, — That the deadline for the receipt of briefs in relation to the study of Bill C-206, An Act to amend the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act (qualifying farming fuel) be Tuesday, May 4, 2021.
It was agreed, — That the meeting of Tuesday, May 4, 2021 be devoted to the consideration of Bill C-206, An Act to amend the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act (qualifying agricultural fuel); that senior officials from the Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food be invited to appear during the first hour; and that the second hour be devoted to the hearing of other witnesses.
It was agreed, — That John Barlow be invited to appear on Thursday, May 6, 2021 in relation to Bill C-205, An Act to amend the Health of Animals Act and that he appear for one hour.
It was agreed, — That the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food be invited to appear before the committee on or before Thursday, May 27, 2021 on the subject of Main Estimates 2021-22.
At 5:44 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
