Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Tuesday, December 10, 2019, the committee resumed its study of Canada-China relations.

Michael C. Davis, Benedict Rogers, Avvy Yao-Yao Go, and Cheuk Kwan made statements and answered questions.

Garnett Genuis gave notice of the following motion:

That this Committee prepare a report on the situation in Hong Kong, to be tabled as soon as possible following the completion of hearings looking specifically at the situation in Hong Kong.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

At 12:32 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:37 p.m., the sitting resumed.
