Election of Vice-Chairs
Pursuant to Standing Order 106(2), the Clerk of the Committee proceeded to the election of a Vice-Chair.

On motion of Dan Vandal, it was agreed, — That Rachel Blaney be elected Second Vice-Chair of the Committee.

At 3:49 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 3:53 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Fire Safety and Emergency Management in Indigenous Communities
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, October 5, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of fire safety and emergency management in Indigenous communities.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 4:25 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
