The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the Committee routine motion on staff and members attending in camera proceedings, adopted on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, a parliamentary intern be permitted to attend the in camera portion of the meeting.

It was agreed, — That the Committee resume consideration of the motion moved by Robert Kitchen on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.

At 9:19 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:28 a.m., the sitting resumed.

At 9:50 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:57 a.m., the sitting resumed in public.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, February 6, 2017, the Committee resumed its comparative study of services to veterans in other jurisdictions.

Bernard Butler and Michel Doiron made a statement and answered questions.

At 10:47 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
