The Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates met at 3:35 p.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Vice-Chair, Tony Valeri, presiding.

Pursuant to Standing Order 81(5), the Committee resumed its study of the Supplementary Estimates (B) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2003, referred to the Committee on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 (See Minutes of Proceedings of Monday, March 17, 2003)
The Vice-Chair called Vote 1b under Privy Council.
Ronald Bilodeau and Stuart MacKinnon each made an opening statement and answered questions.
David Kinsman made an opening statement and with Jean Laporte answered questions.
Yvon Tarte made an opening statement and answered questions.
David McGuinty made an opening statement and answered questions.
At 4:40 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

Alan Leadbeater made an opening statement and answered questions.
Ken Epp served notice of motion – That the Office of the Information Commissioner be required to provide to the Committee any and all information required by the Committee to justify the new appropriation in the Supplementary Estimates (B) in the amount of $311,000.
