The House resumed consideration of the motion of Mr. Goodale (Minister of Natural Resources), seconded by Mr. Normand (Secretary of State (Science, Research and Development)), -- That Bill C-27, An Act respecting the long-term management of nuclear fuel waste, be now read a third time and do pass.
The debate continued.
Mr. Regan (Parliamentary Secretary to the Leader of the Government in the House of Commons), seconded by Mr. O'Reilly (Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of National Defence), moved, — That this question be now put.
Debate arose thereon.
The attention of the Speaker was drawn to the lack of a quorum and, fewer than 20 Members having been counted, pursuant to Standing Order 29(3), the bells were rung to call in the Members.
After one minute, a quorum was found.
