Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(i) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the committee resumed its study of successes, challenges and opportunities for science in Canada.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 7:40 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Committee Business
The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, regarding the study of successes, challenges and opportunities for science in Canada, the committee consider the themes of government science, research during the pandemic, big science, and emerging opportunities.

At 8:10 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
