Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, October 23, 2023, the committee resumed its study of growing problem of car thefts in Canada.

Huw Williams, Damon Lyons and David Adams made statements and answered questions.

At 9:17 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:23 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Pierre Brochet, Thomas Carrique and Dan Service made statements and answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $39,700, for the study of growing problem of car thefts in Canada, be adopted.

At 10:20 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
