Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the committee commenced its study of barriers to Indigenous economic development.

Ernie Daniels, Harold Calla and Clarence T. (Manny) Jules made statements and, with Steve Berna, answered questions.

At 2:28 p.m., Jamie Schmale took the Chair.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

At 2:35 p.m., Marc Garneau took the Chair.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

At 2:45 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 2:52 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Committee Business
The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $3,825, for the study of barriers to Indigenous economic development, be adopted.

At 3:02 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
