Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, January 20, 2022, the committee commenced its study of marine cargo container spills.

Chris Henderson and Martin McKay made statements and, with Jonathan Brickett, Naim Nazha and François Marier, answered questions.

At 12:10 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:12 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Stafford Reid and Ben Boulton made statements and answered questions.

At 12:42 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:46 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the traceability of fish and seafood products.

The committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the members of the committee submit to the clerk their recommendations in relation to the study of the traceability of fish and seafood products no later than 5:00 p.m. ET on Friday, April 1, 2022.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $3,325, for the study of marine cargo container spills, be adopted.

At 1:05 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
