Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, October 19, 2020, the committee resumed its study of the state of the Pacific salmon.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Pacific Salmon: Ensuring the Long-Term Health of the Wild Populations and Associated Fisheries".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the clerk of the committee, not later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 18, 2021.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the study of frozen-at-sea spot prawns and reporting recommendations to the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard by way of a letter, members of the committee be sent a draft version of the letter containing members’ recommendations and, upon receipt of the said letter shall have two days to provide comments or suggested changes to the clerk for review by the Chair, that a final version of the letter be distributed to members of the committee prior to being sent to the Minister from the Chair on behalf of committee members.

At 4:51 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
