Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, October 4, 2017, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-48, An Act respecting the regulation of vessels that transport crude oil or persistent oil to or from ports or marine installations located along British Columbia's north coast.

Peter Lantin, by videoconference from Skidegate, British Columbia, Marylin Slett, by videoconference from Bella Bella, British Columbia, and Reg Moody-Humchitt made statements and answered questions.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Members submit their witness lists for the study of water quality to the Clerk of the Committee no later than Tuesday, November 14, 2017.

At 4:32 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:37 p.m., the sitting resumed.
