Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, April 20, 2016, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-10, An Act to amend the Air Canada Public Participation Act and to provide for certain other measures.

Calin Rovinescu made a statement and, with Hevin Howlette, answered questions.

At 4:03 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:50 p.m., the sitting resumed.

David Rheault and Kevin Howlette answered questions.

At 5:24 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:27 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Jean Poirier, Serge Cadieux, David Chartrand and Fred Hospes made statements and, with Gilbert Mc Mullen, answered questions.

At 5:47 p.m., by unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.

At 5:53 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 6:50 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Jean Poirier, Serge Cadieux, David Chartrand, Fred Hospes and Gilbert Mc Mullen answered questions.

At 7:35 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 7:42 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $13,000.00, for the study of Bill C-10, An Act to amend the Air Canada Public Participation Act and to provide for certain other measures, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the Committee ask departmental staff to attend to respond to questions during clause-by-clause consideration of Bill C-10, An Act to amend the Air Canada Public Participation Act and to provide for certain other measures.

It was agreed, — That the Committee consider Bill C-10, An Act to amend the Air Canada Public Participation Act and to provide for certain other measures on clause-by clause on Wednesday, May 11, 2016.

It was agreed, — That amendments to Bill C-10, An Act to amend the Air Canada Public Participation Act and to provide for certain other measures be filed with the Clerk by 5:00 p.m., Monday, May 9, 2016.

At 8:17 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
