Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Tuesday, October 23, 2018, the Committee commenced consideration of Bill C-83, An Act to amend the Corrections and Conditional Release Act and another Act.

The Chair called Clause 1.

The Minister made a statement and, with Anne Kelly, answered questions.

At 4:33 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:35 p.m., the sitting resumed.

The witnesses answered questions.

On motion of Michel Picard, it was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $13,100, for the study of Bill C-83, be adopted.

At 5:32 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
