Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, October 23, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of secondary supply chain products in the forestry sector in Canada.

Robert Larocque, Charles Tardif, by videoconference from Lévis, Québec, and Éric Bouchard, by videoconference from La Tuque, Québec, made statements and, with Serge Mercier, by videoconference from Montréal, Québec, answered questions.

At 9:48 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:57 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Timothy Priddle, Sian Barraclough, by videoconference from Edmonton, Alberta and Dan Madlung, by videoconference from Edmonton, Alberta, made statements and, with Steven Wollin, by videoconference from Edmonton, Alberta, answered questions.

At 10:44 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:45 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Chair may instruct the Clerk of the Committee regarding the first witnesses to invite to appear for the study on the current state and future of national energy data.

At 10:48 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
