Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Monday, October 15, 2018, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-77, An Act to amend the National Defence Act and to make related and consequential amendments to other Acts.

Charles Lamarre made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Committee proceed to sit in public.

Pursuant to Standing Order 81(5), the Committee resumed consideration of the Supplementary Estimates (A), 2018-19: Vote 1a under Communications Security Establishment, Votes 1a, 5a, 10a, 15a and 20a under Department of National Defence referred to the Committee on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.

ORDERED, — That the Chair report Vote 15a under Department of National Defence and all other Votes on Supplementary Estimates (A) 2018-19 adopted on Thursday, November 8, 2018, under Communications Security Establishment and under National Defence to the House.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of Canada’s Contributions to International Peacekeeping, the Committee travel to Dakar, Senegal, Bamako, Mali and Gao, Mali, Africa during winter-spring 2019, that the Committee be accompanied by the necessary staff; and that the proposed budget in the amount of $149,232.98 for the Committee's travel, be adopted.

At 1:00 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
