Pursuant to Standing Orders 111.1(1), the Committee commenced consideration of the certificate of nomination of Raymond Théberge to the position of Commissioner of Official Languages, referred to the Committee on Thursday, November 30, 2017.

Raymond Théberge made a statement and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the routine motion governing the sequence for the questioning of witnesses, adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, the member of the Bloc Québécois attending the meeting be permitted to ask one (1) question after the second round of questions.

At 4:20 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:55 p.m., the members dispersed.
