Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, June 8, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of criminalization of non-disclosure of HIV status.

Sarah-Amélie Mercure, by videoconference from Montreal, Quebec, Isaac I. Bogoch, Jonathan A. Shime and Ryan Peck made statements and answered questions.

At 9:54 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:57 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Merv Thomas, by videoconference from Burnaby, British Columbia, and Chad Clarke made statements.

At 10:05 a.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit for an additional 15 minutes.

At 10:18 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:55 a.m., the sitting resumed.

At 11:24 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
